The Intermediate Part-II Combined (Annual) Examination, 2008 commenced on 17-05-2008 and Theory Papers ended on 02-06-2008. The Practical Examination started on 21-06-2008 and ended on 11-07-2008. The result is hereby declared to day the 15^th of August, 2008. Errors and omissions are excepted. This Result Gazette is issued as a notice only. Any entry appearing therein does not in itself confer any right or privilege to a candidate for the grant of a certificate. However, the Board reserves the right of rectifying errors and omissions in result at any time.

IMPORTANT INFORMATIONS

1.		Number of candidates who applied for admission to the examination. 48490
2.		Number of candidates who actually appeared. 47486
3.		The marks obtained by the successful candidates have been shown against their Roll Nos./ names in the Result Gazette.
4.		The candidates against whose Roll Nos./Names some abbreviation of subjects & papers are mentioned have failed in these subjects & papers, and are eligible to re-appear in the failing subject/s & paper/s till such period as detailed below:-
	i)	The candidates who appeared in the Intermediate (Annual) Examination, 2008 in full subjects (both the parts) and remained fail in one or two subjects & papers are eligible to qualify the examination of failing subjects & papers till Intermediate (Annual) Examination, 2009.
	ii)	The candidates who appeared in the Intermediate (Annual) Examination, 2008 in papers of Part-II examination and remained fail in one or two papers are eligible to qualify the examination of failing paper/s till Intermediate (Annual) Examination, 2009.
5.		The candidates who passed the Intermediate (Annual) Examination, 2008 may improve the aggregate of marks in one opportunity in the parent Board by appearing as a private candidate in 1 or more subjects in the same combination of the papers/subjects in the current syllabus till Intermediate (Annual) Examination, 2009.
6.		A candidate who passed the examination by availing the benefit of concessional marks, has the right to forego this concession by submitting an undertaking (affidavit) in writing on the stamp paper duly counter-signed by the Magistrate class first within 30 days of the date of declaration of the result of intermediate examination to the effect that he/she should be declared fail as the case may be, in the paper/s in which he/she earned grace marks. Further more he/she has not taken admission in any college or joined any service and he/she will not claim for the restoration of his/her previous result. This concession is not available to the candidates who passed the examination in last chance.
7.		The certificates to the successful candidates will be issued within one year.
8.		The result intimation cards to the candidates are being issued simultaneously. The Private candidates will receive their result intimation cards directly under registered post. However, the result intimation cards of Regular candidates will be sent alongwith the computerised result statements through the Heads of their Institutions.

9.		No fresh candidate with full subjects is eligible to appear in the Intermediate (Supplementary) Examination, 2008 except those as otherwise permitted under the relevant rules. However, a candidate of Inter (Annual) Examination, 2008 may appear in Inter (Supply) Examination, 2008 if otherwise eligible.
10.		The result of the candidates whether successful or otherwise is published for the convenience of all concerned. The result of such candidates who have not yet got adjusted their fee accounts are not published and their result intimation cards will be issued after the adjustment of their dues. The result of the candidates whose eligibility cases are yet to be settled and have not furnished the required information’s / documents has not been published. Their result will only be declared on fulfilment of the requisite formalities.
11.		The candidates shown "Fail" means "Fail as a whole". There is no bar on their appearing in any subsequent examination (Both the parts taken together) if otherwise eligible. No such candidates would be permitted to appear again in Part-I examination only.
12.		Result later for want of award could not be avoided because of practical difficulties which were beyond the control of the office. Efforts are, however, afoot to see that those are cleared within the shortest possible time.
13.		All concerned must consult errata also.

NOTE:-

	i)	All enquiries regarding the result of candidates appearing from recognized Institutions should be addressed to the Heads of the Institutions concerned and not directly to the Controller of Examinations and in case of private candidates they would contact the Deputy Controller Examinations (Inter).
	ii)	The copy of result gazette can be had from the Branches of Habib Bank Limited (Tehsil/District Headquarters) on payment of Rs. 1000/- per copy to the Board's account.
	iii)	The result can be enquired from Habib Bank Limited, Board's Branch, Gulgasht Colony, Multan on Phone No.061- 6511680 and from the Board's enquiry office on Phone No. 061- 9210029.
